HOW DID WE GET HERE?

Since the late 1980's I have worked as a free-lance estimator providing a quantity take-off service for subcontractor's. Today I estimate projects throughout the United States, Canada and parts of England.

In the course of a year, a few thousand bid invites are sent to me to provide a quote for my estimating services Many hours are wasted spent down loading plans, specifications and related project documents.   

From there I have to navigate through the plans to determine if there is an applicable scope of work to bid on. And further determine if the size of the job is worth bidding on.
Unfortunately a necessary evil, this redundant cycle of loading and reviewing plans is repeated by myself and the thousands of people who bid on work.

So how did we arrive here at Get A Job Joey? Year after year of loading and reviewing plans we have picked up on a few things that might make the process quicker and easier.
